Neues Wordpress 2.0

Also irgendwie reisst mich die neue Feature-Liste vom kommenden Wordpress nicht gerade vom Hocker (danke Tom). Besonders beim Punkt "More Abstracted Data Layer" krieg ich ein leichtes Schütteln. Ich weiss, zusätzliche Abstraktionsschichten gehören in der Informatik zum Handwerkszeug und sind eigentlich etwas Gutes. Aber in der Praxis sah das bisher erfahrungsgemäß anders aus; da bedeutet jede zusätzliche Abstraktion auch gleich eine ganz neue Kategorie von Fehlermöglichkeiten. Naja, wir werden sehen. Ich aber nicht so bald, denn bei dieser Feature-Liste hat man wirklich Gründe, sich ein bisschen konservativer zu verhalten. Zumindest (Achtung, Spezialtipp aus dem Hause Uçkan:) sollte man vorher alle PlugIns loswerden, die eigene Tabellen aufbauen ;-)

    Uwe Keim: Und mich wundert's, daß die final Version noch die Bugs der Beta-Version enthält. Naja, vielleicht gibt's ja einige Updates in nächster Zeit
