MSIE auf Ubuntu

Gut, das Problem ist nun auch endlich gelöst. Ich weiss, nix neues, aber bei mir war bisher immer irgendwo der Wurm drin. Update: Hab hier gerade nen Fall, wo Wine beim starten über eine fehlende libindustrial.so meckert. In diesem Fall einfach sudo apt-get install gtk-engines-industrial machen. gtk-engines-industrial und gtk2-engines-industrial müssen beide vorhanden sein.

na .. besser wohl: in der aktuellen ausgabe der ct ist VMWare 4.5 enthalten - da spart man sich das ganze rumgebastel mit Wine bzw. X-Over Office ;-)

btw: selbiges hab ich auch meinem paps geraten, der vor kurzem noch meinte, dass er sich ja liebend gerne Linux auf sein notebook packen würde, wenn da nicht die proprietären windows-programme von seiner schule wären, die er eben zum arbeiten braucht.
